Fall Cheerleading Important Dates & Information
A copy of cheerleader's birth certificate and County Player Contract form must be completed and turned in the first day of camp. If you are new to Green Hornets, but have previously cheer for another County organization, you must complete and submit the Player Release Form. Introductory Camp July 27-July 30, 2009 @ 6-7:30 p.m. Kinder Park. Practices begin the week of August 3rd at Kinder Park (days to be determined once squads are finalized). Practice 2-3 times per week until school starts; 2 times per week when school is in session at Kinder Park. All squads move indoors in late September. Practice days may change due to space availability and scheduling. Cheer for Green Hornets football games usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Participate in approximately 3 local cheerleading competitions. Season ends in late November/early December (we cheer through playoffs and championship games).
SEASON: Season begins in August and runs into mid-November.
