Welcome Welcome to the 2010 Greater Severna Park Athletic Association “Green Hornets” Football web site. We offer a Tackle Football program for boys and girls ranging in age from six to fifteen and Flag Football for boys and girls ages five and six through our “Stingers” program.

Green Hornets Football
Football was established as one of the original Green Hornets sports in 1949. The program has grown into one of the counties largest and finest. Last season we fielded 17 tackle football teams of over 350 kids, 100 coaches and numerous volunteers in eight different weight levels. Additionally, the 2009 season saw the introduction of the highly successful “Stingers” Flag Football program for 5 and 6 year old players. We anticipate additional growth this season.
- The Green Hornets football program, under the auspices of the Greater Severna Park Athletic Association (GSPAA), is a member of the Anne Arundel Youth Football Association (AAYFA). The AAYFA has 22 organizations as members and fields approximately 200 teams. The AAYFA is organized as the youth football component under the umbrella of the Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation.
- Therefore, our program operates and abides by all rules, guidelines and standards set forth by the AAYFA and Anne Arundel County Parks and Recreation.
