Unlimited football:

Designed to offer a more realistic representation of challenges and level of competition a player would face in high school. Size, talent and expectation level make this far different from experiences at younger select levels.

The Green Hornets will attempt to field at least two UNLIMITED teams at each age group. The Select team will compete with their peers at the Division II level, and any subsequent teams formed will compete in the Division III/”Rec” Level. Starting in 2010, the Green Hornets no longer offer teams at the 110, 125 or 140 weight levels.

11U / 12U / 13U TRYOUTS General Selection Process:

• Unlimited teams will begin evaluations on July 25th and team selection will be finalized no later than Friday August 5th.
• Selecting a player at this level greatly exaggerates areas for consideration as playing time and priority shifts from development to competition.
• THERE IS NO WAITLIST AT UNLIMITED LEVELS. Not all players trying out will make the team!
• Only players that evaluators feel can compete at the appropriate level within the team concept will be placed on the Select team. Players will not be retained due to just weight.
• Any player that is not selected in this process may move to the associated “rec” team if available, or receive a full refund.
